🗓️ 23 September
On this day, we pay heartfelt tribute to the 24 conservation heroes, we tragically lost in the helicopter crash of 23 September 2006. Among them, our beloved Dr. Chandra Prasad Gurung, whose wisdom, compassion, and unwavering commitment to harmony between people and nature remain a guiding light for all of us. 19 years have passed, yet their vision, dedication, and legacy continue to inspire us to nurture the natural world. 🙏

📝We are also delighted to share that the Nepali translation of Dr. Chandra Gurung’s renowned book, ‘Caring for the Annapurna’, has been completed and will be published soon. We hope this brings his wisdom and vision closer to communities across Nepal and inspires many more to conserve our natural heritage.
Let us honor their legacy by caring for nature, supporting our communities, and safeguarding our planet for the future. 🌱
