Centre for Democratic Engineers Nepal (CDEN) is an independent Non-Governmental Organization of Nepalese Democratic Engineers, registered under the Organization Registration Act 2034 of the Government of Nepal. Today, it represents about more than 3600 democratic engineers, belonging to various engineering disciplines including architects, civil, electrical, mechanical, electronics, etc. CDEN is governed by an elected Executive Council of 15 members, led by the President of the organization for a tenure of two years. CDEN's mandate include promoting fellowship goodwill and cooperation assistance among the Nepalese engineers, safe guarding their rights & interests and make the road map of Prosperous Nepal through the skills, capacity and efficiency of group of democratic engineers who are under the umbrella of CDEN. Moreover, CDEN is a well-wisher organization of engineers with democratic philosophy and values. It is a non- profitable organization working as a common platform for empowerment of engineering profession.
