The two-day Women’s Leadership Refresher Training for grantee partners from Lumbini and Gandaki Provinces successfully concluded in Bhairahawa, Rupandehi, on 18–19 June 2026 (Ashadh 4–5, 2083).

The training provided a valuable space for reflection, learning, experience-sharing, and strengthening leadership skills among women leaders from diverse communities. Together, participants explored challenges, opportunities, and strategies for advancing women’s leadership and collective action.

Day 1 of the Women’s Leadership Refresher Training for participants from Lumbini and Gandaki Provinces was successfully held in Bhairahawa, Rupandehi on Ashadh 4, 2083 (18 June 2026).

The training brought together 13 participants representing 13 organizations from 9 districts. The day was filled with learning, reflection, and the sharing of experiences on leadership, community engagement, and women’s empowerment.

Tewa successfully organized a two-day Women's Leadership Refresher Training for Karnali Province in Birendranagar, Surkhet on 15–16 June 2026 (Ashadh 1–2, 2083).

The training brought together 25 participants from 18 organizations representing 10 districts of Karnali Province. The sessions provided a valuable space for reflection, learning, networking, and strengthening women's leadership.

Tewa organized a knowledge-building session on "How Social Media Impacts Weak Democracies, Women's and Human Rights, and Techno-Patriarchy" facilitated by Dr. Sucheta Pyakuryal for Tewa staff, Nagarik Aawaz, and IGFF.

Tewa successfully organized its annual fundraising event, Deep Prajwalon 2083, bringing together friends, supporters, donors, volunteers, and partners in a shared spirit of giving and solidarity.

We were honored to have Mr. San Awale from Daraz Online Shopping, one of Tewa’s valued donors, as our Chief Guest. We also extend our sincere gratitude to Ms.Neeta Lama, Tewa Board Member, for the welcome remarks, and to our speakers Ms. Hiru Rana Magar, Tewa grantee partner, and Ms. Manju B.K., Tewa volunteer, for sharing their inspiring experiences and reflections.The event concluded with closing remarks by Ms. Basanti Lama, Senior Philanthropy Officer at Tewa, reminding us of the power and importance of community philanthropy.
