The ADRRN-Earthquake Risk Management (ERM) Hub, hosted by NSET-Nepal, brought together members from Nepal, Pakistan, and Philippines to reflect on a year of collaborative action and look forward to what comes next today in a regional webinar.
Over the past year, with the objective of enhancing regional collaboration for seismic resilience, ADRRN members STAR Foundation and Foundation for Rural Development (FRD) from Pakistan, together with the Philippines Hub led by Center for Disaster Preparedness (CDP) Foundation, collaborated in the initial phase of the initiative through a series of trainings, workshops, orientations, and regional knowledge-sharing activities.

ERM hub partners STAR Foundation and FRD highlighted the urgent need to reach rural and hilly communities with practical, locally adapted tools. CDP Foundation and TAO Pilipinas reminded that when communities are genuinely consulted, they become co-designers not just beneficiaries. NSET together with ADRRN reaffirmed its commitment to continue supporting regional collaboration efforts and to further strengthen seismic resilience across Asia through knowledge exchange, capacity building, and community-centered approaches.
With this momentum and fruitful collaboration, Phase 2 is envisioned to be moving from training to demonstration, from awareness to institutionalization, from pilots to sustained systems.
