20th May 2026: We are delighted to celebrate the successful completion of the elective course-Inclusive Design in Architecture by the students of the Department of Architecture, Pulchowk Engineering Campus IOE, TU, Batch 078

To honor their dedication and effort in making this course meaningful and successful, we proudly presented the Sundar Dhoka Accessibility Award 2026 to all 17 students.

18th May 2026 marked a meaningful partnership as the Bikash Wheelchair and Assistive Technology (AT) Repair Center officially partnered with Shining Hospital, Surkhet.

This collaboration will strengthen wheelchair and assistive device repair and maintenance services across Karnali Province, promoting better accessibility and dedicated hub for wheelchairs/AT repair and maintenance.

The successful inauguration of the Bikash Wheelchair/Mobility Assistive Technology (AT) Repair Centre at Madesh National Indigenous Disabled Women Association Nepal.

On 30 April 2026, marks an important step toward providing accessible and reliable local wheelchair repair services and strengthening mobility support for the community. This initiative aims to ensure accessible and dependable wheelchair and mobility repair services at Madesh Province.
At the event, the Deputy Mayor of Mithila Municipality along with ward chairman expressed their commitment to support the centre further.
This initiative is a collaborative effort with Sundar Dhoka Saathi Sewa, CDCA, and Zener Technologies, with support from AT2030 (GDIHub and the Royal Academy of Engineering).

The successful inauguration of the Bikash Wheelchair/Mobility Assistive Technology (AT) Repair Centre by the Spinal Injury Association in Sunsari, Koshi Province, Nepal, on 29 April 2026, marks an important step toward providing accessible and reliable local wheelchair repair services and strengthening mobility support for the community. This initiative aims to ensure accessible and dependable wheelchair and mobility repair services at the local level.

At the event, the Deputy Mayor of Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City, Ms. Sangita Kumari Chaudhari, along with other distinguished guests, expressed their commitment to continue supporting the centre.
