Our hearts are heavy with sorrow as we mourn the precious lives lost in the devastating Bhotekoshi flood on 26 August 2026. We extend our deepest condolences to all the bereaved families and communities who are grieving the loss of their loved ones. May God grant them strength, comfort, and peace during this painful time. SAHAS Nepal observed one minute of silence in remembrance of all the lives lost in the Bhotekoshi flood, honoring their memories and standing in solidarity with their grieving families.

We also extend our special and heartfelt prayers to our staff member and her family as they face the painful uncertainty surrounding the whereabouts of her husband. We stand with her and her family during this deeply distressing time, holding them close in our thoughts and prayers. Our thoughts, prayers, compassion, and solidarity remain with all those affected by the Bhotekoshi flood.

भदौ १०, २०८३ मा आएको विनाशकारी भोटेकोशी बाढीमा अमूल्य जीवन गुमाउनुहुने सबैप्रति हाम्रो हृदय दुःख र शोकले भरिएको छ । आफ्ना प्रियजन गुमाएर शोकमा रहनुभएका सम्पूर्ण परिवार तथा समुदायप्रति हामी गहिरो हार्दिक समवेदना व्यक्त गर्दछौँ । यस पीडादायी समयमा शोकसन्तप्त परिवारहरूलाई शक्ति, सान्त्वना र शान्ति प्रदान गरून् भन्ने प्रार्थना गर्दछौँ । भोटेकोशी बाढीमा ज्यान गुमाउनुहुने सम्पूर्ण आत्माहरूको सम्झना र सम्मानस्वरूप सहास नेपालले एक मिनेटको मौनधारण गरेको छ । यस मौनधारणमार्फत हामी दिवंगत आत्माहरूप्रति श्रद्धाञ्जली अर्पण गर्दै शोकमा रहनुभएका परिवारहरूसँग ऐक्यबद्धता व्यक्त गर्दछौँ ।

Standing Together with Bhotekoshi Flood-Affected Communities

In times of crisis, prayers, solidarity, compassion, and collective action matter most.
SAHAS Nepal is actively engaged with the flood-affected communities and has dispatched immediate response support to Nuwakot District to help families facing the difficult aftermath of the floods. The response includes essential food items, non-food items, and WASH materials to support affected families in meeting their immediate needs.
