๐ŸŒฑ Learning, exploring, and rethinking mathematics begin today!

We are excited to begin our 3-Credit Short Course on Rich Mathematical Tasks: Design, Facilitation, and Assessment, bringing together educators to explore how rich mathematical tasks can support deeper mathematical thinking, meaningful engagement, and richer classroom learning experiences.

The course is being facilitated by Dr. Deepak Basyal, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Coastal Carolina University, South Carolina, USA, and U.S. Fulbright Scholar at KUSOED.

KUSOED Report Card 2026

This is our recent data update of new enrolments and students in class, including those completing their internships and dissertations. Thank you, everyone, for the contributions.

As of 2021 September, we had 449 students, and the STEAM and Language Departments were the smallest, with fewer than 50 students each. IEP, the Department, SCW, and Inclusive are new units introduced after 2024. Departmental ranks (I to VII) are assigned based on the number of students.

Kathmandu University School of Education (KUSOED) successfully conducted the Welcome and Orientation Session for the 2026 Batch of B Tech Ed in Information Technology, BA-BEd (English), and TCSOLโ€“TESOL programs on September 3, 2026, at Hattiban, Lalitpur.

The session welcomed our new students into the KUSOED community and introduced them to the academic environment, departments, undergraduate programs, examination and administrative services, and university expectations. The program also provided an opportunity for students to introduce themselves and share their expectations for the journey ahead.

We sincerely thank our Dean, Associate Deans, faculty members, staff, program representatives, coordinators, and students for making the orientation meaningful and engaging.
