Feeding Them Through the Rain

It’s the rainy season, and the dogs around the Balkhu Sukumbasi area are struggling to find food, especially when the rain makes it difficult for them to go far.

This morning, despite the rain, we went there to feed them and make sure they didn’t have to face hunger alone.

A little food can mean a lot to a hungry soul.

A Small Gesture of Love for Innocent Hearts
Sagarika Bhatta and TFC visited Prasu Sewa Kendra (Saru Didi). Whenever we visit a place doing meaningful work for animals, we believe in never going empty-handed.

This time, we brought some essentials for the innocent little ones staying there.

Thank you, Saru Didi, for giving these innocent animals a safe place, love, care, and shelter. Your kindness and dedication truly make a difference.

Keep doing the wonderful work!

From Suffering to Healing — A Community’s Care

On August 12, we rescued this poor furry friend from Naikap, who had been suffering from a luto skin problem for a long time. Despite previous medication, there was little improvement.
We rescued it and We took the dog to the hospital for proper treatment. The skin scraping test was positive for Sarcoptes, and the fungal culture was also positive. Because of this, the dog needs to continue medication for around 3 months. The medicine is expensive — just 10 tablets cost NPR 1,300.

We visit and monitor the furry every week, and thankfully, there has been a big improvement compared to before. The furry is still living in the same community, where kind local people and a dedicated feeder are taking care of it. Without their love and support, this journey would not have been possible.

A special thank you to the local community and the feeder who continue to care for this dog every day.

Back to Where She Belongs

A few month ago in Duwakot, a helpless mother dog was struggling to give birth beside the main road during heavy rain. After many kind people tagged TFC Nepal, our team rushed to help around 7:00 PM.

When we arrived, she had already given birth to 8 beautiful puppies. However, her abdomen was still unusually swollen, so we immediately took her to the hospital for an urgent check-up and treatment.

Today, we’re happy to share that Mum is completely recovered and healthy. After her operation and recovery, we returned her to the same place where she belongs. We believe animals are happiest and most comfortable in their own familiar surroundings.

Even though her puppies are no longer with her, we are grateful that she is now safe, healthy, and back where she belongs.

A special thank you to everyone who supported this rescue, and especially to K9 Aid, for standing with us.

Rescued in Pain, Now Fighting for a Second Chance

This poor furry was found with heartbreaking injuries. It’s leg and head were severely infected, with maggots eating into it’s wounds. Furry had likely gone days without proper food, water, or care, and was simply ignored and treated with disgust.

We rescued furry and immediately took her to the hospital. It’s blood tests also showed that furry liver is now affected, making it condition even more concerning.

It is currently receiving treatment at the hospital.

Please, never ignore an animal suffering on the street. Instead of shooing them away, offer food, water, or help with treatment if you can. Even a small act of kindness can save a life.
