Yuwa Dalan is a non-profit, youth run and led youth organization working to promote positive behaviors in youth through process of Discuss... Decide... and Develop... It works to promote harmony for sustainable socio-economic development and empowerment among Terai Youths, aimed at improving the quality of life particularly of rural & semi-urban youths and cultural harmony. It is affiliated with
the Social Welfare Council (SWC) of Nepal. The word “YUWA” has its root in the Nepali language referring youths and 'Dalan' has its root in the Madhesi language, Maithili (one of the ethnic languages of lower southern plain of Nepal) referring the forum that decides to act. True to its meaning, Yuwa Dalan decision makers are youth between age group 16- 29, committed to bring positive social changes.
