Grateful for 2025 & a beautiful closing of the Yuwa ra Sampada Workshop

Last week, we wrapped up the Yuwa ra Sampada Workshop (held in Aug–Sept 2025) with a heartfelt gathering of heritage experts, learners, and leaders. We were grateful to have Sunita Dangol ( ), Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, as our special guest. We were glad to have presence of Aashmi Rana, our founding curator of Global Shapers Kathmandu Hub.

Two groups from the first batch presented their post workshop projects and shared their learnings and experiences, a very proud moment for all of us!

We’re excited to announce two new batches coming in 2026, as we continue growing this community of young heritage learners.

A big thank to Vivo Nepal ( ) for supporting this initiative. Further, we are thankful to all our facilitators and everyone who joined us to celebrate this meaningful milestone. Here’s to more learning, sharing, and preserving our heritage together.

We are proud to say that Mega, who is a Shaper at the Kathmandu Hub, recently attended COP30!

At COP28, the first Global Stocktake mandated an expert dialogue on the disproportionate impacts of climate change on children and the policy solutions needed to address them.

It is important that COP30 includes a meaningful follow-up to this dialogue.

We are hopeful that the concerns of youth will be properly integrated into the final Global Muchirao decision.

As part of the Yuwa ra Sampada workshop from Nepal ko Kala project, our participants went on to lead a hands-on session for Rai School Grade 5 students on 18th November, 2025.

Team Heritage Explorers facilitated a session on the foundations of heritage, where young students explored the importance and relevance of heritage. The session encouraged these young minds to explore the rich stories of their local heritages and ended with a fun activity where students showcased their understanding of different types of heritages and their challenges, and solutions. 🙌

Shaping ASEAN in Malaysia!

Two of our amazing shapers from recently participated in the regional conference, contributing to dynamic discussions on Tech & AI, Climate Action, and Mental Health.

The event also spotlighted key outcomes from the recent ASEAN Summit, bringing together insights and collaborative ideas.
