🌱 From Learning to Action: GPLP Fellows in Practice
GPLP is about more than learning—it is about putting learning into action. 🤝✨
After weeks of capacity building in leadership, values, teamwork, and facilitation, our fellows are now stepping forward to practice what they have learned and create learning opportunities for others.
👏 Congratulations to Ujjwal Basnet and Saragya Gyawali for taking the lead and facilitating sessions for their fellow peacebuilders!
🗣️ Ujjwal facilitated a session on alcohol abuse, exploring its causes and its impact on individuals, families, and society. He encouraged fellow peacebuilders to reflect on how they can contribute to prevention and positive change.
🌱 Saragya facilitated a session on Life Cycle Assessment, helping fellows understand the environmental impact of our choices—from raw material extraction to production, distribution, use, and disposal—and encouraging them to think about practical actions for a more sustainable future.
💡 What made these sessions meaningful was that they went beyond sharing knowledge. Both fellows turned learning into a call to action, challenging their peers to take responsibility and become part of the solution.
🌍 This is experiential learning in action—learning, practicing, leading, and inspiring others to act. Through these experiences, our fellows are not only building skills but also strengthening the character and values needed to live for the greater good.
👏 Congratulations, Ujjwal and Saragya! Keep learning, keep leading, and keep inspiring action.
