Ramesh Gupta Memorial Trust (RGMT), a CSR initiative of Ramesh Corp., in collaboration with World Child Cancer (WCC), conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs) in Bharatpur, Chitwan, to assess the impact of childhood cancer awareness training.

The discussion highlighted that FCHVs have been actively applying their knowledge to identify early warning signs of childhood cancer and facilitate timely referrals within their communities, thereby contributing to improved early detection and treatment.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Amgen, World Child Cancer (WCC), B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital (BPKMCH), and all the dedicated FCHVs for their continued support and commitment.

EWSS Training Program | Bandipur Rural Municipality | 10 July 2026
RGMT, in partnership with World Child Cancer (WCC) and in coordination with B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital (BPKMCH), successfully conducted an Early Warning Signs and Symptoms (EWSS) training in Bandipur Rural Municipality.
The program brought together 50 healthcare professionals and stakeholders to strengthen their capacity to identify and refer suspected childhood cancer cases, contributing to improved early diagnosis and treatment outcomes.
We sincerely thank Amgen, World Child Cancer (WCC), BPKMCH, Secretary, Ministry of Health, Gandaki Province, Dr. Yuvanidhi Basaula, Bandipur Rural Municipality, and Dr. Krishna Sagar Sharma and his team for their support and presence in facilitating the program.

Childhood Cancer Awareness Orientation | Bharatpur, Chitwan | 8 July 2026
RGMT, in partnership with World Child Cancer (WCC), successfully completed the final batch of the Childhood Cancer Awareness Orientation Program for Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs) in Bharatpur Metropolitan City.
Through this initiative, a total of 207 FCHVs were trained on the early signs and symptoms of childhood cancer, referral pathways, and community awareness strategies, strengthening early detection efforts at the grassroots level.
We thank Amgen, World Child Cancer (WCC), and the team from B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital (BPKMCH), especially Dr. Krishna Sagar Sharma and his team, for their invaluable support.

Focus Group Discussion with FCHVs | Bharatpur, Chitwan | 7 July 2026

Empowering Communities to Fight Childhood Cancer
On 2 June 2026, Ramesh Gupta Memorial Trust (RGMT), in partnership with World Child Cancer UK, successfully organized a one-day awareness and orientation session for Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs) at B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital (BPKMCH), Bharatpur.
Awareness event was led BPKMCH team members Dr. Krishna Sagar Sharma, Dr. Niva Tiwari, doctors, nurses and other experts. Training brought together over 60 dedicated FCHVs from different wards under Bharatpur Metropolitan City. FCHVs were equipped with vital knowledge to help refer, and support children with suspected childhood cancers.
We extend our sincere thanks to BPKMCH, Children Cancer Foundation Nepal, Bharatpur Metropolitan City, and all others who helped carry out this program smoothly.
Together, we are building a stronger, more inclusive pathway to early diagnosis and quality care, starting at the heart of the community.

Nepal Childhood Cancer Alliance (NCCA) २०२६ बाल्यकालीन क्यान्सर विजेता छात्रवृत्ति
This scholarship supports 10 cancer warriors from Nepal to continue their education.

Scholarship funds are supported for the annual monthly School fees, School transportation, books, dress, etc.
Scholarship are disbursed directly to the students’ school and will be following the NCCA set criteria for the final scholarship awards.

नेपाल चाइल्डहुड क्यान्सर एलायन्स (NCCA) द्वारा आयोजित यस छात्रवृत्तिले नेपालका १० क्यान्सर योद्धाहरूलाई आफ्नो शिक्षा जारी राख्न सहयोग गर्दछ।

छात्रवृत्ति कोषले वार्षिक मासिक विद्यालय शुल्क, विद्यालय यातायात, किताब, पोशाक, आदिको लागि सहयोग गर्छ।

छात्रवृत्ति कोष सिधै विद्यार्थीहरूको विद्यालयमा वितरण गरिन्छ र अन्तिम छात्रवृत्ति पुरस्कारको लागि NCCA ले तोकेको मापदण्ड पालना गर्नेछ।
