Himalayan Care Hands (HCH) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-profit, social development organization working with a practical and effective ‘hand to hand’ approach. It is established by a committed group of Trekking and Travel Leaders, IT Professionals and Export- Import business people in action for community development and empowerment under the Nepalese Organization Act of 1977 AD. The
organization focuses its activities on the progress of education & health of underprivileged children who have (almost) no access to healthcare and education. HCH facilitates sustainable development by utilizing local resources and the skills of (inter)national volunteers and experts. Our projects focus on integrating education, health, agricultural and environmental development with a ‘bottom-up’ approach to directly interact and collaborate with communities and foster the quality of life. The aim of HCH is to empower people and raise awareness with a “grass root” development strategy, and to help and support local communities in more direct ways through the various aid programs provided by Himalayan Helping Hand Nepal.
