Meet our furry friend, Setey.
However sadly he had a terrible road accident on Gathaghar which left him in severe pain with critical injuries, including a severe avulsion wound and damage to his reproductive organs.
Our rescue team found him in critical condition and rushed him to our shelter to give him the medical care and treatment he deserved. To ensure his survival and long-term welfare, our veterinary team had to perform an amputation along with castration.
Thanks to our technical team who provided the proper post-operative care, lots of love, and his own incredible resilience, Setey has made a successful recovery! Today, this 7-year-old boy is incredibly playful, energetic, and happily living his life on his remaining limbs right here at our shelter.
By standing with us, your help ensure that lives like Setey's get a second chance. Your kindness allows us to keep our shelter doors open and continue our mission of being a voice for the voiceless.

FROM THE RUINS TO SAFETY

The Sukumbasi Basti (Informal settlement areas of Kathmandu ) incident didn't just displace families; it left the most vulnerable, voiceless animals completely homeless.

This old dog is completely blind. As the walls crashed down around her, she couldn't see the danger;she could only hear the terrifying noise. To make matters worse, she was left behind by her owner after the incident. When our team arrived, we found her sitting all alone in the street, completely abandoned and homeless.

A gentle touch and a lot of reassurance was all it took to let her know she wasn't alone anymore. She is now safe in our shelter, under our strict care and supervision.

Now, we want to make sure her remaining years are filled with peace, love, and medical care.

we need your continued support.

Recovery of Parvo Update from Lubhu, Lalitpur Field

A community dog from the Lubhu area was found showing symptoms consistent with Parvo infection and was immediately brought under our care for treatment and close monitoring.

The dog was weak, dehydrated, and in urgent need of medical attention. Our veterinary team began supportive treatment immediately, including medications, fluid support, nutritional care, and continuous observation.

For 5 days, the dog remained under dedicated treatment and care at our facility. With proper medical support, patience, and compassionate handling, the dog gradually began to recover. Appetite improved, energy returned, and the overall condition became stable day by day.

Today, we are happy to share that the dog has recovered well and playing with friends . 💛

Cases like these remind us how important timely treatment and compassionate care are for vulnerable street animals. Many dogs on the streets suffer silently from preventable and treatable illnesses, and continued support helps us respond to these emergencies.

🙏 Thank you to everyone who supports our mission and helps us continue rescuing and treating animals in need.

Spaying and Neutering after Recovery.

These helpless street dogs were rescued in extremely poor condition and brought to our shelter for urgent medical treatment. Sick, weak, and struggling to survive on the streets, the dog needed immediate veterinary attention and continuous care.

With time, patience, and dedicated care, this innocent soul slowly recovered. The dog regained strength, appetite, and confidence once again.

After complete recovery, we also performed a spay surgery to help prevent future suffering and reduce the growing population of homeless street animals.
Sterilization is one of the most humane and effective ways to create long-term change for street dogs.

Finally, they are ready to be released back to the community.

Rescue, Treatment, and Safe Release – Bhaktapur Case Update

In Bhaktapur, we responded to a heartbreaking case involving a street dog suffering from a serious bite wound. The injury was likely caused by a territorial fight, leaving the dog in pain, weak, and at high risk of infection.

Upon rescue, our veterinary team immediately assessed the condition and decided to admit the dog to our shelter for intensive care and observation.

For 15 days, the dog remained under our dedicated supervision. During this period:

The wound was thoroughly cleaned and treated daily
Antibiotics and pain management were administered
Regular dressing and infection control were ensured
Nutritional support was provided to regain strength

Slowly but steadily, the dog began to recover. The wound healed well, the infection was controlled, and the dog regained normal activity and confidence.

After confirming full recovery and fitness, we safely released the dog back to its original territory, where it belongs.

This is not just a treatment—it’s a second chance at life.

However, cases like this are increasing, and many animals are still suffering silently on the streets. Your support helps us continue rescuing, treating, and saving lives every single day.

Please support our work and be a voice for those who cannot speak.

A house in Gairi Gau Homeless area of Kathmandu was being demolished…
A bulldozer was already moving from behind…

But outside the house…
A dog was still sitting there… alone… unaware…

Seconds away from danger…

Our team rushed in and rescued him just in time.

They have no voice… but they feel fear… pain… and abandonment.

Help us save more lives.
