सांसद हर्क साम्पाङले उठाएको प्रश्नको जवाफ दिँदै गृहमन्त्री सुदन गुरुङले पोखराको जग्गा प्रकरणबारे सत्यतथ्य सार्वजनिक गरेका छन्। साम्पाङले गृहमन्त्रीको नाममा फेसबुकमा लामो Status लेखेका थिए । त्यसको जवाफस्वरूप Comment box मा Reply गर्दै गृहमन्त्री सुदन गुरुङले लेखेका छन् -

“प्रिय माननीय हर्क सम्पाङज्यू,
तपाईं र मेरो बीच विगत लामो समयदेखि रहेको सम्बन्ध, देशको हितका लागि BPKIHS का मुद्दाहरूमा सँगै अघि बढ्दै आएको यात्रा, र दाजुभाइको आत्मीय सम्बन्धले अझ मजबुत बनाएको छ। यस्तो गरिमामय पदमा रहि रहँदा तपाईं र नगरिकलाई जवाफ दिनु मेरो जिम्मेवारी पनि हो।

आजभन्दा करिब ८–१० वर्ष अघि, हामी तीन जना युवा साथीहरूले मिलेर पोखराको पर्यटन विकासका लागि,विशेष गरी गाउँको विकास गर्ने उद्देश्यले,एकदमै विकट र विकास नपुगेको ठाउँ रोज्यौं। सो क्षेत्रलाई छनोट गर्नुको मुख्य कारण नै त्यहाँ पूर्वाधार र विकासको कमी हुनु थियो, र हामीले आफ्नो पहलले त्यहाँको समग्र विकासमा योगदान पुर्‍याउन सकिन्छ भन्ने विश्वास गरेका थियौं।

सोही क्रममा, हामीले उक्त जग्गा मेरो नाममा नभई LEASE (भाडामा) लिएर काम अगाडि बढाएका थियौं। त्यसबेला उक्त जग्गा ६५ मिटर क्षेत्रमा नपर्ने भनी जानकारी दिइयो, लालपुर्जा समेत देखाइयो, र त्यसैअनुसार हामीले लगानी सुरु गर्‍यौं। तर पछि नगरपालिकाबाट उक्त जग्गा ६५ मिटर क्षेत्रमा पर्ने तथ्य थाहा पाएपछि हाम्रो लगानी जोखिममा पर्‍यो।

यसले गर्दा निर्माण कार्य समेत रोक्नुपर्ने अवस्था आयो। हाम्रो लगानी र सपना दुवै डुब्यो र हामी ठगीमा परेको बल्ल हामीले महसुस गर्यौ। ठगीमा परे तापनि अरुलाई दुःख नदिने उद्देश्यले हामी चुप्प लागेरै बस्यौँ। अवैध मानिएको जग्गामा यति ठूलो लगानी गरेर फेरि भाडा तिर्नु पर्ने अवस्था उपयुक्त देख्दैनौँ। त्यसैले, त्यस समयमा हाम्रो युवावस्थाको आशा र विश्वासमाथि ठगी भएको महसुस गर्दै, हामी अब यस विषयमा कानुनी उपचारको बाटो रोज्ने निर्णयमा पुगेका छौं।

PS: साथै, यस विषयमा संलग्न सबै मित्रहरू तथा सञ्चारमाध्यमहरूलाई पूर्ण तथ्य नबुझी हतारमा एकतर्फी रूपमा समाचार प्रकाशन नगर्नु हुन पनि विनम्र आग्रह गर्न चाहन्छु। यथार्थ बुझेर मात्र जिम्मेवार ढंगले विषय प्रस्तुत गरिदिनुहुन अनुरोध गर्दछु।

प्रधानमन्त्रीको शपथ समारोहमा:-
- १०८ बटुकहरूले स्वस्ति-शान्ति वाचन गर्ने ।
- १०७ बौद्ध लामा गुरुहरुबाट मंगलवाचन गराइने ।
- ७ ब्राम्हणको शंखनादसहित शंखध्वनिले गुञ्जने ।
अर्थात सनातन धर्मबाट गुन्जयमान बनाउने ।

During the devastating 2015 Nepal earthquake, Sudan Gurung emerged as a symbol of selfless service and grassroots leadership. Leading a powerful volunteer movement, he coordinated a team of over 600 individuals across hospitals, providing critical support to victims in their most vulnerable moments.

From assisting injured patients and supporting overwhelmed medical staff to building temporary shelters, cleaning hospital spaces, and organizing essential relief materials — his efforts touched thousands of lives. Through his initiative, “I to We,” he transformed individual compassion into collective action.

In this emotional video, Gurung recalls the heartbreaking scenes he witnessed — lives lost, families shattered, and countless injured struggling for survival. Overcome with emotion, he reflects on how those moments shaped his purpose and commitment to serve humanity.

Today, that same dedication has led him to a new role — Sudan Gurung has been elected as a Member of Parliament. His journey stands as a powerful reminder that true leadership is built through service, empathy, and action when it matters most.
