Menstrual discrimination fuels a vicious circle of unequal power and patriarchy.
Across homes, schools, communities, and everywhere in between, deep-rooted bias creates a stark divide:
Menstruators are unfairly perceived as inferior, powerless, and insecure.

Non-menstruators are positioned as powerful, superior, and secure.
This imbalance feeds into ongoing systems of exclusion.

To transform this reality, this MHDay 2026, the Sang pour Sang Uni.e.s pour la Dignité (SpS) consortium members Fòs Feminista Org, Fòs Feminista Org, Global South Coalition for Dignified Menstruation, and PSI Europe stand alongside partners and communities around the world to dismantle these rigid hierarchies.

By breaking down the walls of patriarchy through Dignified Menstruation, we can build a future rooted in equality, dignity, and justice for everyone.

🌍 Celebrate MH Day 2026: Menstrual Talk, Dignity First
Menstrual discrimination is a global crisis.

It impacts lives across all diverse settings and throughout the entire life cycle of menstruators. Whether through visible restrictions and violence, or invisible forms like menstrual discrimination, and over 5,000 euphemisms, this deep-rooted stigma deprives individuals of vital services and resources.

To transform this reality, this MHDay 2026, the Sang pour Sang Uni.e.s pour la Dignité (SpS) consortium members Equipop, Fòs Feminista Org, Global South Coalition for Dignified Menstruation, and PSI Europe stand alongside partners and communities around the world in calling for change.

By dismantling global menstrual discrimination and actively promoting Dignified Menstruation, we can build a future rooted in equality, dignity, and justice for all.

𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲.

Both menstruators and non-menstruators often learn menstrual discrimination between the ages of 6–9 years—through family conversations, practices at home, media, advertisements, and even shared spaces like bathrooms.
These early lessons shape unequal power relationships, reinforce patriarchy, and create exclusion.

To transform this reality, this MHDay 2026, the Sang pour Sang Uni.e.s pour la Dignité (SpS) consortium members Equipop, Fòs Feminista Org, Global South Coalition for Dignified Menstruation, and PSI Europe stand alongside partners and communities around the world in calling for the conversation early.
By challenging Menstrual Discrimination and promoting Dignified Menstruation, we can create a future rooted in equality, dignity, and justice for all.

On the second day of our journey, hosted by Q***r Youth Group & Global South Coalition for Dignified Menstruation, we continue deepening conversations on dignity, inclusion, and justice through the lens of Dignified Menstruation. Together with LGBTQIA+ participants, we are challenging menstrual discrimination and building a collective vision where menstruation is recognized as a matter of human rights and social justice.

As we celebrate MHDay2026, we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that every menstruator can live, learn, and lead with dignity.

Today marks the beginning of an important journey toward advancing dignity, inclusion, and justice through our Training on Dignified Menstruation with LGBTQIA+. Together, we are creating a safe space to learn, unlearn, and reimagine menstruation beyond discrimination—centering diverse identities, lived experiences, and human rights.

Dignified menstruation means ensuring that all menstruators, within all identities, can live with dignity.

🌸 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐇 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤, 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 🌸

The kitchen is the primary unit of parliament—a space where decisions are made, care is shared, dialogue happens, and justice begins. It is where executive, legislative, and judicial roles are practiced every day, shaping peace and climate justice from the ground up.

Yet, due to menstrual discrimination, menstruators are denied access to the kitchen—deprived of food, water, participation, and dignity. At the same time, they are expected to carry the unpaid burden of kitchen care, a responsibility with little recognition or value.

This is both a systemic and symptomatic inequality.

Through Dignified Menstruation, we call for political engagement from kitchen to parliament—where menstruators are not excluded, but empowered to lead, participate, and live with dignity.

On this MHDay 2026, let us come together to break the silence, challenge menstrual discrimination, and celebrate with the slogan 🗣️"Menstrual Talk, Dignity First"✊❤️.

This recognition is not only a celebration of Dr. Radha’s unwavering dedication, but also an acknowledgment of the long journey of ✍🏻 —its history, struggles, and achievements.

The Global South Coalition for Dignified Menstruation (GSCDM) is now accepting applications for the Dignified Menstruation Global Fellowship–2026, a six-month global volunteer fellowship designed to build knowledge, leadership, and advocacy for a world where all menstruators live with dignity.
