Take a glimpse into the lives of orphans and street kids. Abused and abandoned, all alone. Each one has a story. They carry pain and abuse on their young shoulders each day. support. Millions of orphans will not break or pierce a person’s heart. But will the eyes of one pierce yours? Help us show these little ones a glimpse of how much God values and loves them. H.O.P.E-Nepal is a nonprofit working to provide food, warmth and hope to the orphans kids in Nepal. H.O.P.E-Nepal was founded in 2014 when our founder realized the horrific lifestyle orphans children who don’t have family. With the number of orphans constantly increasing, we wanted to figure out why this was a growing issue. We found that many Nepali orphans are social orphans. At least one of their parents is alive, but is unfit, unable, or unwilling to be responsible for their child. This could be for a number of reasons:
o Because of poorness,many families found it financially difficult to support a child. o Extreme drugs, alcoholism, and physical or emotional abuse often cause the child to leave their home. A child might be removed or leave independently. o With many orphanages crowded, lacking funds and staff, children don’t receive the attention they need to develop a healthy, nurturing lifestyle. At H.O.P.E-Nepal, we strive to be the footsteps of Nature by loving children, not just in word, but in action. This includes building relationships with the children, ensuring they are equipped with basic necessities such as food and clothing. We encourage individuals, universities, and communities to come together as one voice and make a difference for orphans kids. WHAT WE DO
Every day, H.O.P.E-Nepal is diligently working to create a better life for orphaned children. Since 2014, we have been building relationships with multiple orphanages and care centers throughout Nepal. We assist them in two ways:
o First, we are in constant communication with their staff to identify their needs. This constantly varies from basic necessities, to educational material, to building maintenance and more. o Additionally, H.O.P.E-Nepal sends teams and interns to serve in those institutions. These teams organize summer camps and provide emotional, spiritual, and material support to orphans and at-risk children.Interns serve as our feet on the ground and in need, analyzing needs and building relationships with the children. o Also, we run our own orphanage for those who are in need and other orphanage were unable to reach out to them.
