🌍 World Environment Day 2026 🌱

HECAF360 proudly celebrated World Environment Day through a meaningful Student Exchange Program in collaboration with NAMI International School.

As part of the initiative, students were taken on an educational visit to Namgyal Higher Secondary School, a recognized Zero Waste School, where they gained valuable insights into sustainable waste management practices, environmental stewardship and responsible citizenship.

The exchange provided an excellent opportunity for students to learn from real-world examples, share ideas and strengthen their commitment to creating a greener and more sustainable future.

Together, we inspire the next generation to lead positive environmental change.

🌍 World Environment Day 2026 🌱

On the occasion of World Environment Day, HECAF360 successfully conducted an environmental awareness campaign at NAMI International School. The program aimed to educate and inspire students about pressing environmental issues, including pollution, waste management and the importance of sustainable behaviors.

Through interactive sessions, students learned the significance of source segregation and how simple daily actions can contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment. Empowering young minds with knowledge and responsibility is a crucial step toward building a sustainable future.

A heartfelt thank you to NAMI International School, the students, and all participants for their enthusiasm and commitment to environmental stewardship.

Menstrual Hygiene Day | 28 May 🌸

In observance of Menstrual Hygiene Day, Menstrual Health and Hygiene Management Partners’ Alliance - MHM PA Nepal , Central College and HECAF360 jointly coordinated and organized an awareness program to promote menstrual health, hygiene and dignity.

The event aimed to raise awareness, break the stigma surrounding menstruation and encourage open discussions on the importance of menstrual health and well-being. Through collective efforts we continue to advocate for access to accurate information, safe hygiene practices and a supportive environment for all.

Thank you to all participants, partners and supporters who contributed to making this event meaningful and impactful.

Health Environment and Climate Action Foundation (HECAF360) have successfully conducted composting training session at Pragati Marga -2, Ward No. 29, KMC with active participation and enthusiastic engagement from community members. The session aimed to promote sustainable waste management practices and strengthen community awareness on household composting and environmental responsibility.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Ward No. 29, Kathmandu Metropolitan City , the community members and the Management Committee of Pragati Marga-2 for their valuable coordination, support and smooth facilitation throughout the campaign and training.

Special appreciation to Sanu Maya Maharjan , Division Chief, Environment Department, KMC for facilitating the training and delivering an insightful presentation, expertise and valuable contribution greatly enriched the session and inspired meaningful community participation.

Celebrating International Zero Waste Day 2026! 🌍✨ The ‘Zero Waste Exhibition 2026’ concluded successfully in Kathmandu, promoting sustainable practices and circular economy solutions. Held under the theme “Be the Change – Reduce Waste, Reuse More, and Embrace Recycling,” the two-day event showcased innovative enterprises, technologies and practices in recycling, upcycling and sustainable resource use, along with live demonstrations and DIY solutions to encourage green entrepreneurship.
Organized by Rotary International District 3292 in collaboration with ESRAG partnerships from HECAF 360 and Blue Waste to Value. ♻️
