A Day of Art, Joy & Growth

(A little late to share, but the joy of this day still deserves to be told)

Leo Club of Sankhu organized a special program dedicated to children, filled with art, mehendi, and playful activities designed to spark creativity and bring out their brightest smiles.

📍 Venue: Shree Sankhu Basic School, Mahadevsthan

From little hands painted with mehendi to games full of laughter, the day was a celebration of childhood itself. Watching the kids light up with excitement over every activity was a reminder of how powerful simple moments of joy can be in a child's growth.

🍚💙 Warm Bowls, Warm Hearts 💙🍚

Kheer Distribution Program | Shrawan 15, Kheer Day
(A little late to share, but the warmth of this day still deserves to be told)

On the occasion of Shrawan 15, popularly known as Kheer Day, Leo Club of Sankhu organized a Kheer Distribution Program dedicated to our senior citizens, the pillars of wisdom and strength in our community.

📅 Date: 31st July 2026 (Friday)
🕖 Time: 7:00 AM
📍 Venue: Bhajan Mandal, Salinadi

Early that morning, our Leo members gathered with warm bowls of kheer, eager to bring smiles to the elders who have shaped our families and community over the years. It was more than a bowl of sweet rice pudding. It was a gesture of respect and gratitude, a reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness carry real meaning.

Seeing the joy in the eyes of our senior citizens as they received their kheer made the morning truly worthwhile.

Leo Club of Sankhu bows in deep sorrow and pays heartfelt tribute to our brave Nepali mountaineers whose lives were taken by the avalanche on Broad Peak, Pakistan.

These were not just climbers. The mountains they loved so deeply have called them home, and though they are gone from among us, their spirit, their sacrifice, and their love for this country will live on forever in our hearts.

To the families left behind, no words can truly ease this pain. We stand with you in grief, and we pray that you find the strength to carry this immense loss. May their souls rest in eternal peace, and may their courage continue to inspire generations of Nepali mountaineers to come.

🤝✨ Handover, MOU Signing Ceremony & Fellowship Dinner 2026 ✨🤝

On the joyous occasion of International Friendship Day, Leo Club of Sankhu proudly joined hands with fellow Leo Clubs for the Handover, MOU Signing Ceremony & Fellowship Dinner, held under the remarkable initiative Project Synergy. The evening was a beautiful celebration of leadership, friendship, fellowship, and our shared commitment to community service.

Laying the foundation for club excellence. 🦁

On July 18, 2026, “Club PVSTM Schooling” was organized by 𝗟𝗲𝗼 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝟯𝟮𝟱 𝗗 at Nami College, Narayantar, Jorpati, under the theme “Laying the Foundation for Club Excellence.”
The session was designed to strengthen the core pillars of effective club management — Planning, Vision, Structure, Teamwork, and Mentorship (PVSTM) — giving Leo members from clubs across the district practical tools and guidance to lead their respective clubs with clarity, direction, and purpose. Discussions centered on building stronger organizational structures, setting clear club visions, fostering teamwork among members, and nurturing mentorship for the next generation of leaders.

Programs like this remind us that great clubs are not built overnight; they are shaped through consistent learning, guidance, and a shared commitment to growth. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Leo District Council 325 D for organizing this insightful session, and to every Leo member who participated with enthusiasm and dedication.

Strong foundations today build stronger clubs tomorrow, and stronger clubs build a stronger district of service.

Clear vision opens the door to a brighter future. 👁️

On 2083/04/05 (July 21, 2026), an Eye Screening Program was jointly organized by 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗫𝗜𝗩 (Area IV, Region VII) — 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂 𝗔𝗮𝗯𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻, 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗵𝗮, 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗵𝘂, 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂 𝗦𝗮𝗸𝘄𝗼 & 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗵𝘂 𝗟𝗲𝗼 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯, with technical support from BP Koirala Lions Eye Research Center.

Good eyesight is the gateway to good health, education, and opportunity. Through this screening, we aimed to detect vision problems early and connect participants with the care they need, in line with our commitment to Mission 1.5.

One drop of blood brought hope to lives in need. 🩸
On 2083/04/03 (July 19, 2026), a Blood Donation Program was jointly organized by 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗫𝗜𝗩 (Area IV, Region VII) — 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂 𝗔𝗮𝗯𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻, 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗵𝗮, 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗵𝘂, 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂 𝗦𝗮𝗸𝘄𝗼 & 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗵𝘂 𝗟𝗲𝗼 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯, with technical support from T.U. Blood donation is one of the simplest yet most powerful acts of service. A single unit can save up to three lives, and every donor becomes a lifeline for a patient in urgent need. This program reflected our shared commitment to Mission 1.5 and to building a culture where giving back is a way of life.
We thank our members, well-wishers, and the wider community for coming forward and being a part of this life-saving cause. Together, we created a milestone in service by giving the gift of life to those who needed it most.

On 2083/03/32 (July 16, 2026), a Traffic Awareness Program was jointly organized by 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗫𝗜𝗩— 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂 𝗔𝗮𝗯𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻, 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗵𝗮, 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗵𝘂, 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂 𝗦𝗮𝗸𝘄𝗼& 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗵𝘂 𝗟𝗲𝗼 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯.

The program was held at Evergreen School, Sankhu, with the goal of educating students on road safety, traffic rules, and the importance of responsible commuting habits from an early age. Through interactive sessions and awareness activities, students were encouraged to become mindful road users and ambassadors of safety in their own communities.

Road accidents are often preventable, and awareness is the first step toward change. By instilling these values in our youth today, we take one step closer to safer streets and a more disciplined society tomorrow.

Together, we raise awareness today for a safer tomorrow because every life matters on the road. 🛣️

On 2083/03/31 (July 15, 2026), an Anti-Drug Awareness Program was jointly organized by 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗫𝗜𝗩— 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂 𝗔𝗮𝗯𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻, 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗵𝗮, 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗵𝘂, 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂 𝗦𝗮𝗸𝘄𝗼& 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗵𝘂 𝗟𝗲𝗼 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 in association with Nepal Police, Sankhu.
