We are pleased to invite you to a Street Festival organized under the YCSA project by our grantee social action project “Sanskriti Ra Jalawayu: Community Resilience through Indigenous Knowledge Documentation in Panauti” Supported by British Council Nepal and AYON to be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Panauti Municipality, Ward No. 7 Dabali 1:00 PM.
The project is led by Shreya Piya (Team Lead) along with Sakshi Jangam, Manish Kumar Chaudhary, Suyasha Shah, Tsering Dolkar Sherpa, Minu Tamang, and Phurtenzi Tamang, and is being implemented in Wards 4, 7, and 12 of Panauti Municipality, Kavrepalanchok District, Bagmati Province.
Through this initiative, we aim to produce a community-centered documentary that captures Panauti rich cultural heritage and highlights its deep interconnection with climate and environmental change, drawing on indigenous knowledge and local lived experiences.
The street festival will be a vibrant space to experience local culture, stories, and community voices while engaging in conversations around culture, climate, and resilience. We would be honored by your presence and participation.
