TOGETHER FOR NEPAL was born immediately after the earthquakes of 2015 with the goal to help and promote projects of different NGOs actives in Nepal.

A DAY OF GROWTH, CARE, & INSPIRATION!!
Today, we successfully conducted a half-day training titled “Essential Skills for Independence & Well-being” for persons with disabilities, with a special focus on visually impaired women and men, at SS Music School, Kathmandu. As part of the program, 38 hygiene kits were also distributed 🌸
We extend our sincere appreciation to Sushil Adhikari for smooth event coordination; Basudev Adhikari and Sarita Agraharii for their powerful motivational sessions; and Prasikchya Bhattarai for sharing her touching life story and facilitating an insightful self-care session. Notably, all the above-mentioned persons are visually impaired themselves, making their leadership and presence especially inspiring for the participants.
Special thanks as well to our Advisor, Pierangelo Fabbri for his short yet impactful inspirational session.
Together, we continue to create spaces where ability leads and confidence grows 🌱

SHAPING TOMORROW’S LEADERS: AN INTERNATIONAL “CREATE YOUR FUTURE” EVENT CONCLUDES SUCCESSFULLY!!
The 3-day “Create Your Future” Leadership Training was successfully conducted in Kathmandu (Jan 15–17), bringing together 34 participants representing NGOs, healthcare centers, technical institutes, banks, the disability sector, distinguished former Civil Servants, and more.
We extend our sincere thanks to Trainer David Thirumur for facilitating highly engaging sessions marked by clarity, knowledge, and meaningful participation. Also, our heartfelt appreciation goes to our Advisor Pierangelo Fabbri

SNAPS FROM 7 JAN, 2025 | Compassion in Action

Yesterday, we visited two care centers in Balaju, Kathmandu: The Disabled Service Center & Possible Life Center. More than 60 residents, including couples and children, live there communally, happily helping each other. There we distributed winter caps, essential food items & sports equipment for the children. We are also glad to share that recently the Maruti jeep (seen in the images), was kindly donated by our friend Walter through our active facilitation and this vehicle is now providing vital support for the center’s daily needs and mobility. As somebody rightly said, it is more of a blessing to give than to receive, and we are happy to continue to support these precious people that keep on smiling despite their struggles.
