The second batch (20–21 April 2026) of NAP+N’s Capacity Building Training for ORWs of the Migrant Program has successfully concluded in Kathmandu.

Day 2 featured engaging practical sessions, strengthening skills in communication, counseling & behavior change to better serve migrant communities.

📢 Happening Now | Second Batch in Progress!

The National Association of PLWHA in Nepal (NAP+N) has successfully commenced the second batch of the 2-day Capacity Building Training for ORWs of the Migrant Program, taking place on 20–21 April 2026 in Kathmandu.

This training continues to focus on strengthening the capacity of Outreach Workers by enhancing their knowledge in programmatic approaches, along with practical skills in effective communication, counseling, and behavior change techniques.

💡 With active participation and engaging sessions, this batch is expected to further empower ORWs to deliver impactful services and reach migrant communities more effectively.

📢 Training Update | Day 2 Completed Successfully!

The second day of the Capacity Building Training for ORWs of the Migrant Program has been successfully completed!

Today featured three rounds of intensive practical sessions that truly engaged participants—creating a learning experience that will be remembered and applied in their fieldwork. These hands-on exercises have become the core highlight of the training, strengthening real-world skills in communication, counseling, and behavior change.

👏 We appreciate the enthusiasm, active participation, and dedication shown by all ORWs. Such commitment ensures stronger, more effective outreach to migrant communities.

📢 Happening Now in Kathmandu!

The National Association of PLWHA in Nepal (NAP+N) is currently conducting a 2-day Capacity Building Training for Outreach Workers (ORWs) of the Migrant Program on 17–18 April 2026 at Hotel Digambara, Jamal.

This important training aims to strengthen the capacity of ORWs by enhancing their understanding of programmatic approaches and equipping them with essential skills in effective communication, counseling, and behavior change techniques.

Through this initiative, NAP+N continues its commitment to improving service delivery and empowering frontline workers who play a vital role in reaching migrant communities and ensuring access to quality HIV prevention, care, and support services.

👏 We appreciate the active participation of all ORWs and the continued support from our partners in making this program impactful.

Today_15th April 2026, NAP+N has successfully organized a vital National stakeholder meeting at Alfa Beta House, New baneshwor, Kathmandu in collaboration with Sakti Milan Samaj & NFWLHA, focusing on key findings on HIV-related content in school curriculum and textbooks.
There was an active participation of representatives from NCASC, NHRC, Curriculum Development Center (CDC), and various national networks. The discussion highlighted and shared strong commitment to ensure that HIV education for the next generation is accurate, inclusive, and grounded in evidence.
Together, we move forward to strengthen education, awareness, and rights for all.
