भिजनको कथा उनी जन्मनुभन्दा पहिले नै सुरु भएको थियो।

२०७२ सालको भूकम्पका बेला भिजनकी आमा गर्भवती थिइन् र अकल्पनीय डरको सामना गरिरहेकी थिइन्। समयमै सहयोग पाएर उनी बाँचे र भिजन पनि बाँचे।

सही समयमा दिइएको सानो सहयोगले सम्पूर्ण जीवनलाई आकार दिन सक्छ भन्ने एउटा जीवन्त उदाहरण हो भिजन। उनको नामले आशा, शक्ति र मानवतालाई बोकेको छ ।
आज हामी २०७२ सालको नेपाल भूकम्पलाइ सम्झँदै गर्दा, मानवीय कार्य विपद्को क्षणमा मात्र होइन, भविष्यको लागि पनि उत्तिकै महत्त्वपूर्ण छ भन्ने कुरा नबिर्सौं।

On World Health Day 2026, we celebrate the strength of communities and the resilience of children across Nepal.
Last fiscal year, through partnerships and community-led solutions, we were able to support families in powerful ways:
✨ 9,930 children children identified as malnourished and enrolled in PD Hearth sessions where they achieved positive weight gain
✨34,398 children children reached through Growth Monitoring and Promotion (GMP) events.
✨17 health facilities, including 12 birthing centers provided with medical equipment.
✨21 child-friendly water taps built.
✨7 drinking water systems completed, bringing 165 households to access safe water.
Ms. Pooja Pokhrel Mandal, Field Health and Nutrition Lead shares: “ World Vision International Nepal is committed to improving maternal and child health and nutrition through integrated, multisectoral, and evidence-based interventions. WVI Nepal implements Positive Deviance Hearth sessions a community based, food focused approaches that use locally available ingredients to strengthen positive caregiving practices and prevent malnutrition. In addition, WVI Nepal provides technical and financial support to local governments to strengthen health systems and enhance the quality of services for lasting the impact.”
