We need an education that builds character, promotes peace of mind, develops intelligence and makes man stand on his own feet - Swami Vivekananda
If education helps in the overall development of a person, I would like to say spiritual progress along with intellectual and physical development, which can be called moral education.
Moral education influences a person's social thinking and personal thinking and helps distinguish between right and wrong. Moral education is a basic need of modern times where people are increasingly losing their moral values.
Moral education is important because it changes a person's thinking, he can learn to distinguish between right and wrong. This education teaches us diversity, tolerance and different moral values. Moral values include many values like service to country, honesty, truth telling.
Supporting what is right, understanding responsibility towards society and respecting others etc.
At a young age, students easily absorb all kinds of influences, good or bad, if they do not have the right guidance and direction, it is also possible that they may absorb wrong people and wrong things. Education can help these young people to follow the right path. ,
So it is important for all of us to provide them with an education that will help them acquire and develop good moral principles. Proper attitudes and values that enable them to make good and right choices and appropriate decisions in life in their adulthood. At the school level, we must teach moral education to students every day.
When students study in elementary grades, they learn many new things. They learn how we should live in the social environment and how our overall development can take place through moral education.
As an example, Nepal was called the World Guru in ancient times. Moral values are also taught along with education in Nepal and we can't call life life only by moral education to those who follow it to build a society full of human values, high ideals and character.
Therefore, I believe that moral education should be a part of the curriculum to make our country full of proper ideals and values.
