The Women Literacy Program (WLP) under the Amics del Nepal Women Hub project continues to empower women through foundational literacy and confidence-building. A new phase began with the distribution of Level-1 Nepali textbooks to 17 women at the Activity Centre, along with essential stationery and a short orientation to introduce the learning materials.

The Level-1 book focuses on barnamala, vocabulary, and simple sentence formation, supporting gradual learning. This initiative strengthens women’s literacy, self-reliance, and long-term empowerment through community-based education.

The Winter Health Workshops were successfully conducted for PBL 6 and 7 under the Amics del Nepal Children Program, engaging 20 students. PBL 7 participated in a Mental Health session focused on emotional well-being and stress management, while PBL 6 attended “A Healthy Heart,” learning about heart health, nutrition, and active lifestyles.

PBL 6 introduced “Story Building,” focusing on creativity, imagination, and storytelling skills, while PBL 7 began “Doc Fest II: Recording,” advancing their documentary journey through hands-on video planning and production.

Social Week (SW) youth of Amics del Nepal conducted an SDG awareness workshop at Patan Children’s Home. The session focused on sustainability and the 3Rs - Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle - helping children understand how simple daily actions can protect the environment and build a better future.

Through interactive discussions and presentations, participants actively shared ideas and reflected on responsible practices, successfully strengthening awareness, critical thinking, and community-based environmental responsibility.
