These are the Nepal Electricity Authority employees reported missing from the Upper Trishuli 3A Power House and Dam after the Rasuwa flood.

After hearing that a rescued engineer says everyone inside the tunnel is safe, it is hard not to hold onto hope.

May every name on this list come home. Every single one. 🙏🇳🇵

We have spent these days waiting, praying, refreshing our phones, hoping someone else makes it home.

And while we wait, they keep going back in.

Through the mud, the wreckage, the exhaustion and the grief, they keep searching because somewhere, a family is still waiting.

To our rescuers, security forces, doctors, nurses, volunteers, and every person who showed up, we don’t know how to thank you enough.

Every life you bring home gives all of us a little hope again.

Please come home safely too. We are waiting for you too. 🇳🇵🙏

Some much-needed good news amidst all the heartbreak. One person has been rescued alive from the Trishuli 3A tunnel. After days of seeing so much loss, even one life saved feels like a little bit of hope for the entire country. Praying we hear more news like this in the hours ahead. 🙏😭

The floodwaters may recede, but the crisis does not end there.

Now we need to focus on what comes after: safe food and drinking water, shelter, hygiene, healthcare, and the everyday essentials families need to live with dignity.

Relief must also recognize that needs are different. Women and adolescent girls, babies, older people, people with disabilities, and those requiring regular medicines need specific support.

Rescue saves lives. What we do after rescue determines how people recover.

If you are supporting flood-affected communities, this is where our attention needs to be now.
