See Below ⬇️ Nepal is one of those lovely countries where the people live so peacefully, but way below the poverty line. That is the situation here in Nepal. It was after the earthquakes that a retired American grandmother met a young economics student from the university in Nepal. Together, they started collecting money and hosting volunteers to give relief to their neighbors. To date:

Built over 50 shelters
Housed over 20 volunteers at no charge
Provided food and warm clothing
Initiated Street Dog Project
Beginning Village Environmental Project
On-going Village Clean-up Campaign

The agency is beginning a work-training project to help women learn the carpet making trade, as well as teaching English at no charge to women in the village and a work training, computer science project. Another way Kay Garnay for Nepal is helping Nepal to rebuild from the earthquakes is by helping local artisans to market their art and handcrafts online at Whataboutnepal.com
