Our mission is to prevent drug abuse and HIV & AIDS by reaching out to the schools, colleges, communities and street children through preventive and intervening measures amongst vulnerable groups. "Prayas” was registered on 16th May 2006 at the Kathmandu Chief District Officer’s Office under Article 4 of the Institutional Registration Act of 2034, and was granted registration number 679/062/63. We

are a non-governmental, non-profit making, non-religious organization working for the welfare of street children and drug users and we have been involved in several activities like day care, counseling, referral to Rehabilitation centers and V.C.T. centers to street children, drug users and PLHIV since its establishment.
