Kiwanis Club of Himalayas Nepal
The Kiwanis Club of Himalayas Nepal expresses its deep sorrow and concern over the recent protest during the Gen Z movement across major cities of Nepal, which has resulted in the tragic loss of more than two dozen youth lives and left hundreds injured by police gunfire.
As part of a global, non-political service organization dedicated to serving children and youth, Kiwanis stands for peace, safety, and hope. We grieve with the families who have lost their loved ones and extend our heartfelt prayers for the recovery of all those injured.
In this difficult time, we call upon all members of society and Government to uphold non-violence, peace ,dialogue, and understanding. The future of our nation lies in the hands of our youth, and it is our collective responsibility to safeguard their life and nurture their potential in constructive ways.
The Kiwanis Club of Himalayas Nepal remains committed to its mission of serving children and communities through education, health, and leadership development programs, and to fostering a peaceful environment where every child can thrive.
