A historic Agreement on the Establishment of Friendship Relations was signed today between the People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries of Xizang Autonomous Region of PRC and the Nepal China Himalayan Friendship Society (NeCHiFS) along with Nepal China Executive Council of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal.

The signing was held in the gracious presence of Yang Lahong, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Xizang Autonomous Region; Dilli Raj Aryal, Chairman; Ananda Pokharel, Patron; and Hari Uprety, Deputy Chairman of NeCHiFS Nepal.

This milestone marks a new era of people-to-people connectivity, cultural understanding, and friendship between Nepal and China. The bond between our two nations will continue to grow stronger on the foundation of mutual respect, development cooperation, and shared values.

Nepal firmly upholds and will always stand for the One China Policy , today’s partnership reflects that unwavering commitment.
