Under the Improved Livelihoods and Economic Opportunities for Poor and Marginalized Dalit Women Project, implemented by the Association for Dalit Women's Advancement of Nepal (ADWAN) in partnership with Karuna Trust and FAN, and in coordination with the local government, a six-day training program on seasonal and off-season vegetable farming was inaugurated for 15 women members of the Sahasi Women’s Group of Siddhartha Tole, Siddhipur, Ward No. 3, Khairahani.
The training aims to enhance participants’ skills and knowledge, promote self-reliance, and improve their access to income-generating opportunities.

The inauguration ceremony was chaired by Ms. Tirtha Kumari B.K., Vice President of ADWAN. The Chief Guest was Mr. Purna Bahadur Gurung, Ward Chairperson of Khairahani Municipality Ward No. 3. Other distinguished guests included Ward Member Ms. Bishnu Maya B.K. and Ms. Yamuna Sapkota, Agricultural Extension Trainer from the Khairahani Agriculture Section.
The program was successfully conducted with the active participation and support of all stakeholders.
