In Nepal, we have our own networks and systems for sharing information. But some kinds of information are very difficult to find. Our main aim is to make it easy to find the information that is hidden today. We also sometimes have the problem that important information about services is only shared during casual guff between a small group of people. Our other goal is to use existing technologies to bring such important information to as many people as possible. GalliGalli is beginning work by focusing on information related to government services and education including foundational literacy.

My Village Baseline Training Completed!
After a successful program in Malangwa, Sarlahi, our training has officially concluded. Now, 38 dedicated volunteers from Bara, Rautahat, and Sarlahi are ready to reach 200+ children in each of 20 villages through learning camps, community libraries, SMS support, and regular assessments.

We also had the honour of recognising Shivnath Raut Sir, one of Nepal’s Onlinekhabar 40 Under 40 – 2082 honorees, whose dedication to free education for underprivileged children continues to inspire us all.
The day concluded with a joyful Dar celebration for the upcoming Teej festival, adding warmth and togetherness to the moment.
