Sankalpa Nepal is a non-profit voluntary organization constituted under the Non-Governmental Organization Registration Act of Nepal (1977) in June 2006. Sankalpa Nepal was founded by a group of experienced human right activists, social workers and legal professionals who worked for many years in the field of human rights, advocacy for rights of elderly people and other social and legal issues. The

y possess tremendous experience of advocacy, lobbing and sensitizing human right including elder right for last many years. This organization focuses on advocating for the rights of the elderly people, lobbying for their social security, legal awareness and legal assistance as required and sensitizing, making elderly people aware on their rights, their cultural importance in society.
