Epilepsy camp and awareness program was held in Marine Gau palika Sindhuli district on 8th Dec,2025. 23 people living with Epilepsy were treated and free medication was distributed among which 5 people living with Epilepsy were never under medical tratment. Thanks to Mayor, ward chairmen and the entire team.

NEA team attended 15 th AOEC 2025 in New Delhi. Memoriam was held for Late Mr. Shankar Malakar Vice president of IBE-SEA and Secretary of NEA who suddenly passed away on Aug 2024. In the meantime Dr. Hemav Rajbhandari was awarded Asian Oceanian Outstanding Achievement Epilepsy Award(AOEA) 2025. Dr. Sw****ka and Mr. Prakash S.Budhathoki presented papers.

It has been more than 3 weeks since you have left us our dear Shankar Malakar Sir. We don't feel that you are no more in this world. You always lived in simplicity. You were never judgemental. You were the person full of thankfulness. You had no attachment with anything in this world instead you always smiled. Your generosity towards people living with epilepsy in Nepal and towards our organization will always be remembered. You made your death so simple..you were just with us few hours prior to your death..how can somebody die so simply while having tea with your family without any pain..no suffering..no disease......only the best people leave this world like this...and you are the best..We will try to follow legacy forever.
We salute you sir.....
