Two Days of Learning, Dialogue and Collaboration ❤️

A look back at moments from the two-day workshop held on 28th –29th September with our members of the National CSE Advocacy Coalition, bringing together 26 participants for meaningful learning, discussion, reflection, and collaboration.

The workshop created a space to explore tools, exchange experiences, and share valuable feedback to strengthen our collective work on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE).

We sincerely thank all the participants and our partners, UNFPA in Nepal and ADRA Nepal, for their continued support and engagement throughout the workshop.

In a humanitarian crisis, everything can feel uncertain but the right to safe and dignified healthcare should never be one of them.

During disasters, displacement, conflict, or other emergencies, access to sexual and reproductive health services can become even harder. Yet people still need accurate information, compassionate care, and safe abortion services without stigma or discrimination.

On National Safe Abortion Day, let’s remember:crisis should never mean losing the right to make decisions about your own body.

Safe abortion is healthcare.
Access is a right.
No one should be left behind.

On 24 September, CSE TWG meeting at the Department of Education, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology focused on strengthening Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) and ensuring that it responds to the current needs of children and adolescents.

Key discussion points included:
Updates on the development of the National CSE Framework
Review of CSE integration in the Grade 4–8 national curriculum
Updates on flood-affected schools and the need for CSE- and ASRH-focused psychosocial counselling in affected areas

Continuing the conversation, strengthening collaboration, and working towards inclusive, age-appropriate and responsive CSE for every learner.
