KEC Robotics Club, founded in 2005, is a student organized club that provides a platform for students of Kathmandu Engineering College to come together in an effort to promote, educate, explore, and compete in the field of robotics. Solely out of a passion for robotics, members from Electronics, Electrical and Computer Engineering departments join together for the pursuit of practical knowledge. The main vision of the club is to expose the students to the latest advancements in robotics technology by focusing knowledge sharing and hands-on experience through team spirit. It also provides a comfortable platform for students to learn more about robots’ technologies practically in order to enchant their engineering skills by engaging in annual competitions the club participates, working on group projects, organizing workshops, documentary, presentations. The Club has been involved in a continuous process of learning and exploring the possibilities in the engineering field most of which comes from the hands-on knowledge and experience in building robots. The support from the faculty members and the college administration which we really appreciate has also encouraged us students for performing better as well as a sense of unity in the process of learning by doing.
