Electronic Band Structure, DOS & PDOS Using Quantum ESPRESSO by Dr. Deepak Bhattarai

In this lecture, Dr. Deepak Bhattarai introduces the fundamentals and practical analysis of Electronic Band Structure, Density of States (DOS), and Projected Density of States (PDOS) using Quantum ESPRESSO. The session covers how to calculate and interpret electronic band structures, understand the valence band, conduction band, and Fermi level, analyze DOS and PDOS, and identify the contributions of different atoms and orbitals to the electronic properties of materials. This lecture is useful for students and researchers working in computational physics, materials science, condensed matter physics, and first-principles electronic-structure calculations.
