🎓 300 Women. 10 Mothers Groups. Graduation Day.
On April 24, 2026, we celebrated the graduation of 300 women from our 4-Month Financial Literacy Program in Gadhawa Rural Municipality.
These women came in wanting to learn. They learned to read, write, budget, plan, and save. But what stood out most on graduation day wasn't the certificates — it was who ran the room.
The ceremony was organized and emceed by the participants themselves. Women who began the program unable to write their own names stood on stage and spoke — clearly, confidently, without assistance.
That is not a small thing. 💙
📌 A few things that made this day special:
✅ 300 graduates across 10 Mothers Groups
✅ Participants organized and led the entire ceremony
✅ Skills covered: financial management, budgeting, business planning, savings, and health awareness
✅ Supported by: Her International, ISVG-2 Program Liesbeth Nagelkerke, SureCall Contact Centers, Stichting Maha Mata Nederland, & RFEF Program Diana Groffen
CP Nepal currently works with 80+ Mothers Groups and 2,200+ mothers across life skills and micro-credit programs. Financial literacy isn't a bonus — it's the foundation.
The women aren't just asking for more. Other Mothers' Groups are knocking on the door, asking for the same program. The demand is real and growing.
To our donors and supporters — thank you. From the 300 graduates and the entire CP Nepal family: without your generosity, this would not have been possible. 🙏
