Program Description :
Rotary club of Kathmandu circle in Collaboration with Eco-Himal has organized ‘Joint Flood Relief Support program ‘. These relief materials are going to be distributed at Uttargaya , Rasuwa. Service chair Rtn. Dipendra Bhandari along with the representatives of Eco-Himal (Team of 5-6 ) people have headed to Uttargaya , Rasuwa with 2 trucks of Relief materials.
Relief materials includes : Aqua boxes , mattresses , quilt , First aid box , new clothes for children , male & female , sanitation kits (large buckets , Sanitary pads , diapers for babies , hand sanitizers , soaps , shampoos etc. ) , Food materials , water filters , tents , play materials for children , undergarments for children & male / females etc.
Locations of Distribution of relief materials :
1) Nilkantha Secondary school shelter
2) Shivaliya Basic School shelter
3) Bhimsensthan shelter
4) ward office building -05
5) Kalika Devi School Building
Along with distribution of Relief materials , our team has planned a visit to Severely flood affected areas of Rasuwa to assess the situation & collect data on affected families. Main intention of this visit will be to document urgent needs & areas requiring further support. Our team has also planned to visit Nuwakot to collect the above mentioned informations .
We would like to express heartfelt thanks to all the helping hands & organizations who came forward to help in this difficult time.
