Every year, Soroptimists across the world stand united for the United Nations 16 Days of Activism to End Violence Against Women and Girls, ending on Human Rights Day on 10 Dec.

This year, Soroptimist clubs are shining a light on online violence—from cyberbullying and grooming to sextortion—and promoting safer digital spaces for women and girls.

Soroptimist UK and Ireland President Gillie O’Rourke reminds us, “Soroptimists will be raising awareness in their communities … under the signature colour of orange, symbolising a brighter future free from violence.”
