What better way to celebrate !
We just wrapped up Day 2 of the Regional Conference on Deep Regenerative Agriculture!
On World Health Day, conversations went beyond farming, highlighting how the health of our soil, biodiversity, and food systems is deeply connected to human health and well-being.
At Lumbini Buddhist University, participants explored how regenerative practices can strengthen food and nutrition security, preserve cultures, restore ecosystems, and build resilience for communities across the eastern Himalayan region.
Because a healthy planet grows healthy food and that sustains healthy people.
This is also a reminder of the One Health perspective, where the well-being of people, animals, environment and the whole planet are all connected.
The conference is jointly organized by Lumbini Buddhist University,
Nepal Genebank (NARC), WWN, and WWF, with financial support from The Rockefeller Foundation
