European Economic Chamber Nepal In order to strengthen socio-economic ties between Nepal and the European Union, it was inevitable to establish this chamber. President of EEC-Nepal Mr.

European Economic Chamber (EEC) – Nepal established in Kathmandu, Nepal was formally registered with Government of Nepal, Central District Office, Kathmandu on 7 March 2005 (2061/11/24), registration number 455/061/062. The Chamber endeavors to be a mediator between partners in the Internal Market and the Member States of the European Union and other European countries to enhance the business and

social interactions between Nepal and European countries. Our strengths as an organization mirror our endeavors in bringing together diverse skills, experiences, culture, and perspectives in pursuit of a greater goal. Now with the member organization base of 73 companies from various backgrounds, we are optimistic in providing realistic solutions and information to develop human, natural and cultural resources to support health care provisions, safe environment, sustainable development and economic growth in the context of national priorities, making our visions of a better tomorrow come alive. The chamber has also been registered with Social Welfare Council to give due status of NGO to support social activities in the country. Amidst a gathering of 350 personalities Hon'ble Finance Minister Mr. Madhukar Rana (Nepalese Finance Minister) inaugurated the official launching ceremony of European Economic Chamber(EEC)-Nepal on 5 August 2005. His Excellency Keith Bloomfield, British Ambassador to Nepal was the Keynote Speaker at the function. Dibya Mani Rajbhandari chaired the program.

European Economic Chamber Nepal is proud to co-organize this executive initiative, fostering international collaboration and supporting Nepal’s digital transformation through responsible AI leadership.

AI for Decision Makers: An Executive Workshop for Leaders brought together business leaders, executives, and decision-makers to explore how AI is shaping the future of leadership and enterprise.

Co-organized by the European Economic Chamber Nepal (EEC Nepal) and the Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NICCI), with Bosch as the Technology Partner, the workshop features distinguished speakers, including Mr. Guruprasad Mudlapur, President of Bosch Group in India and Managing Director of Bosch Limited, H.E. Udo Eugen Volz, Ambassador of Germany to Nepal, and H.E. Veronique Lorenzo, Ambassador of the European Union to Nepal.

Through expert-led sessions on AI strategy, governance, economics, organizational readiness, and practical applications, the program equips executives and decision-makers with the knowledge and tools to lead AI adoption responsibly and drive innovation within their organizations.

EEC Nepal President C.A. Narayan Bajaj Appointed as a Regional Coordinator for South Asia & the Middle East

The European Economic Chamber Nepal (EEC Nepal) is proud to announce that its President, Mr. Narayan Bajaj, has been appointed Regional Coordinator for South Asia & the Middle East (2026–2027) by the EBO Worldwide Network.

In this role, Mr. Bajaj will help strengthen regional collaboration, promote knowledge exchange, and support coordinated advocacy among European Business Organisations across South Asia and the Middle East. His appointment reflects both his leadership and EEC Nepal’s growing contribution to advancing European business engagement in the region.

This recognition marks an important milestone for EEC Nepal and reinforces Nepal’s presence within the global network of European Business Organisations.
