International Youth Day 2026 | Public Engagement Event

On the occasion of International Youth Day 2026, YUWA, in collaboration with , .nepal , and we are organizing a Public Engagement Event to bring young people and the public together through creativity, learning, and meaningful engagement.

The event will feature a range of activities, including:
Open Mic – Share your ideas, stories, poetry, music, and more.
Quiz – Test your knowledge and learn something new.
Eco-friendly Stalls – Explore ideas and initiatives for a sustainable future.
Face Painting
Drama and Creative Performances
Information Table – Learn more about youth, climate, and related issues.

Are you passionate about youth leadership, civic engagement, and creating an inclusive society?

YUWA is looking for a Program Officer to join our Active Citizenship team. In this role, you will lead programs that promote meaningful political participation, especially for young persons with disabilities, while working closely with youth groups, government stakeholders, and partner organizations.

CALL FOR CONSULTANCY FIRMS OR FILMMAKERS

YUWA, in partnership with Plan International Nepal, invites qualified consultancy firms or filmmakers to produce documentary films under the RewriteHerStory initiative.

The documentaries will capture powerful real-life stories from Bardiya and Dhanusha, highlighting the intersections of child marriage, climate justice, gender equality, and youth leadership. The assignment also includes mentorship opportunities for young filmmakers.
