COTS 2026 | Strengthening Leadership, Building Impact

RWM #1027 | Rotary Club of Bagmati Kathmandu

A productive and enriching Sunday morning at Rotary Club of Bagmati Kathmandu, as we successfully completed our Regular Weekly Meeting #1027, followed by an engaging COTS 2026 session.

The session was moderated by our Club Trainer, PP Rtn. Sharad Neupane, and featured valuable insights from our club leaders:

RCBK Board Meeting | RY 2026/27 – 2nd Board Meeting

The Rotary Club of Bagmati Kathmandu successfully completed its 2nd Club Board Meeting of RY 2026/27 today at Aranya Boutique Hotel, Nagpokhari.

The meeting focused on key priorities and upcoming initiatives of the club, including:

1. Charter Day & District Governor’s Official Club Visit proposed dates and programme planning
2. RCC Dapcha Proposal – review and discussion
3. Global Grant (GG) Proposal – review and coordination with the Primary Contact
4. RCBK school children heart screening project in coordination with Nepal Heart Foundations

A productive meeting with meaningful discussions and clear direction as we continue working together to Create Lasting Impact.

A Historic Beginning of 10 Clubs Coming Together for Greater Lasting Impact.

RWM #1026 | Rotary Club of Bagmati Kathmandu

Today, 8 August 2026, we proudly completed a historic Joint Clubs’ Meeting, bringing together 10 Rotary Clubs and around 60 Rotarians in a spirit of fellowship, collaboration and collective service.

The meeting provided an excellent platform to review the progress of our Miyawaki plantation initiative, share experiences, and discuss opportunities to expand our environmental efforts through meaningful joint projects.

More importantly, the 10 clubs came together to discuss and plan future collaborative service initiatives - combining our resources, expertise, networks and passion for service to create a greater and more sustainable impact in our communities.

A special appreciation to all the Presidents, Rotarians and members of the participating clubs for making this milestone meeting meaningful and memorable.

Regular Weekly Meeting # 1025 concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation from club members and special guests from RCC Dapcha, making the evening truly meaningful.

A heartfelt thank you to our distinguished speakers, PP Rtn. Sudhir Babu Khatri and VP Rtn. Arjun Ghimire, for their insightful session on “What Your Numbers Say About You – Numerology.” Their engaging presentation inspired reflection, self-awareness, and personal growth.

We were delighted to welcome the RCC Dapcha team, whose presence strengthened fellowship and our shared commitment to impactful community service.

Special thanks to Dr. Rtn. Ramesh Malla for generously sponsoring today’s Cocktail Fellowship, which added warmth and camaraderie to the evening and provided members with a wonderful opportunity to connect beyond the meeting.

Today, the Rotary Club of Bagmati Kathmandu, together with fellow Rotary clubs, the Inner Wheel Club of Bagmati, and Rotaract Club of Bagmati successfully completed the Rotary Joint Miyawaki Tree Plantation Program at the Machchhindranath Sub-Division Forest Office, Hattiban, Lalitpur.

It was inspiring to witness Rotarians, Inner Wheel members, families, volunteers, and community partners working side by side to restore nature through the Miyawaki Method : a proven approach to creating dense, native, and self-sustaining forests.

We were honored by the gracious presence of our Chief Guest, District Governor Rtn. Vishnu Bahadur Karkee (District 3292), whose encouragement further strengthened our commitment to environmental sustainability.
