Scouting is a global movement that empowers young people to become active citizens and leaders in their communities. In alignment with this mission, Nepal Scouts and KFUM-Spejderne i Danmark (Denmark Scouts), with support from the Danish Youth Council (DUF), propose a bilateral youth exchange program to foster leadership, intercultural understanding, and collaborative project implementation.
Nepal Scouts is inviting applications from Young Scouts, aged 18–30 years. We’re looking for three passionate young people (aged 18–30) to join a 10-month exchange program in Nepal and Denmark as part of our partnership with the Danish Scouts. Together with three Danish youth leaders, you will strengthen the voice of young people through scouting activities, cultural exchanges, foster learning across borders, and demonstrate how scouting can drive positive change in communities.
The Youth Leaders Exchange Project is designed to strengthen the scouting movement in Nepal by empowering young leaders to engage with local scout groups across all provinces and contribute to the development of the volunteer community at the national level. To ensure the success of this initiative, candidates must meet the following requirements, which reflect the skills, experience, and personal qualities necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the role effectively.
The total duration of the project is from February 2026 to November 2026.
