Rainbow Community is a non-profit charity founded on July 18, 2011 by a group of volunteers who love public welfare.

Rainbow Volunteer Club, a youth and children protection, education development and humanitarian aid organization founded in 2011, was registered as a provincial-level non-profit private institution (Rainbow Volunteer Club, Gansu) with the Gansu Provincial Department of Civil Affairs in April 2014 and registered as a social welfare organization (Rainbow Volunteer Club) in Kathmandu, the capital of

Nepal, in September 2017. Rainbow team of staff and volunteers employs a variety of professional methods to enhance educational environments in remote areas. We are dedicated to advocating for and promoting the protection of youth and children, with a special focus on girls. Our mission also includes nurturing young talents in the field of public welfare, advancing community sustainable development projects, and providing child-centered humanitarian relief efforts. "Every child is the gift of the world, the most beautiful gift. To give children the sincerest companionship and love is our dream." Rainbow Volunteer Club offers a variety of opportunities for individuals interested in making a difference in their community:

1. If you have a passion for public welfare and want to improve rural education, we are here to support your ideas and provide practical opportunities to create positive change in people's lives.

2. Whether you are a social worker, psychologist, or a regular student, we offer opportunities to enhance your professional skills.

3. Even if you are not in a specific field, you can still receive training and skills to help others in need. This cause is open to everyone, and together we can make a difference in the lives of those around us. We encourage university students to join us in public welfare activities to not only help others but also improve their own skills and abilities in the process. We aim to:

1.Cultivate young people with a passion for public welfare.
2.Develop social workers with professional qualifications and skills.
3.Help volunteers understand the current state of rural education and explore ways to bring about change through hands-on experience.
4.Broaden the future development opportunities for college students

Empowering adolescent girls means empowering the future. 💜

Through Project BLING (Bring Light IN Girls), Rainbow Volunteer Club is creating a safe and supportive space where adolescent girls can learn, share, and grow together. This companionship and empowerment initiative helps girls understand their emotions, health, leadership, and life skills while encouraging peer-to-peer learning and confidence building.

By supporting girls during this important stage of life, Project BLING directly contributes to several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
✨ SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being: Promoting physical and emotional health.
📚 SDG 4 – Quality Education: Providing knowledge, life skills, and awareness.
⚖️ SDG 5 – Gender Equality: Challenging negative attitudes and empowering girls to lead.

When girls are supported, communities become stronger and more equal. Together, we can bring light into their lives and help them shine.

🌸 BLING कार्यक्रम: बालिकाको उज्यालो भविष्यतर्फको सशक्त कदम 🌸

BLING कार्यक्रम बालिकाहरूलाई हरेक प्रकारका भेदभाव र विभेदबाट मुक्त हुँदै शिक्षित, सक्षम र आत्मनिर्भर बन्न प्रेरित गर्ने अभियान हो। हाम्रो विश्वास छ—जब एक बालिका शिक्षित हुन्छिन्, तब एउटा परिवार मात्र होइन, सम्पूर्ण समाज नै सशक्त बन्छ।

आज हामीले श्री मणिलिङ्गेश्वोर आधारभूत विद्यालयका १९ जना विद्यार्थी बहिनीहरूको सक्रिय सहभागितामा “Rainbow ROSE Manilingeshwor Girls Support Committee” गठन गर्न सफल भएका छौँ। यो समिति बालिकाहरूको नेतृत्व विकास, आत्मविश्वास वृद्धि तथा अधिकारबारे सचेतना अभिवृद्धि गर्ने महत्वपूर्ण मञ्च हुनेछ।

यस समितिमार्फत बालिकाहरूले:
✨ आफ्ना विचार र आवाजलाई निर्भीक रूपमा प्रस्तुत गर्न सक्नेछन्।
✨ शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, सरसफाइ र आत्मरक्षासम्बन्धी ज्ञान हासिल गर्ने अवसर पाउनेछन्।
✨ बालविवाह, लैंगिक हिंसा तथा अन्य विभेदविरुद्ध सचेत र सशक्त बन्नेछन्।
✨ नेतृत्व क्षमता विकास गर्दै भविष्यका जिम्मेवार नागरिकको रूपमा अघि बढ्नेछन्।

यो पहल केवल एउटा समिति गठन मात्र होइन, यो बालिकाहरूको उज्ज्वल भविष्य निर्माणतर्फको महत्वपूर्ण सुरुवात हो। हामी सबैको साथ, सहयोग र प्रतिबद्धताले यी बहिनीहरूलाई अझ आत्मनिर्भर, सक्षम र नेतृत्वदायी बनाउन सकिन्छ।

Temporary Learning Space for Rohingya Refugee Children in Nepal provides a safe and supportive environment where refugee children can access basic education, recreation, and awareness programs. The initiative aims to ensure continuity of learning for children affected by displacement while addressing their emotional, social, and psychological well-being.

Through child-friendly teaching, creative and recreational activities, and awareness sessions on health, hygiene, and child protection, the program helps children regain a sense of normalcy and hope. The Temporary Learning Space also promotes inclusion, resilience, and empowerment, enabling Rohingya refugee children to learn, grow, and envision a better future despite challenging circumstances.

Rainbow SMART Youth is a foundation program designed to help students discover their true potential and inner strengths. Through this initiative, Rainbow aims to create opportunities for social interaction, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among young people. The program offers a series of personality development trainings that help university students build confidence, leadership skills, and a positive mindset.

Participants are also given opportunities to join growth camps and actively contribute to social change, encouraging them to become responsible and engaged citizens. Rainbow SMART Youth promote a shift in Nepalese perspectives from education limited to academic achievement toward high-quality, lifelong learning, empowering youth to continue growing personally and professionally throughout their lives.

Rainbow Schoolmate is a free notebook initiative of the Rainbow Volunteer Club that supports thousands of children each year who are unable to afford basic learning materials. The project goes beyond simply distributing stationery; it is a meaningful step toward empowering children and enthusiastic students to express their thoughts, nurture their creativity, and transform their lives through education.

Rainbow TLS provides daily nutritious and balanced hot meals to 300 children living in slum communities, ensuring they receive adequate protein, essential vitamins, minerals, and access to safe drinking water. Alongside nutritional support, the program conducts regular health and nutrition education sessions for children and their families to promote healthy eating, hygiene, and positive lifestyle practices.

Rainbow TLS also emphasizes educational awareness by encouraging school attendance and the value of learning, while integrating girls’ safety education to empower girls with knowledge about personal safety, rights, and protection, fostering a safer and more inclusive community environment.

Rainbow SENSE aims to assist children who are on the verge of leaving school because of their parents’ weak financial backgrounds.

In Nepal, poor economic conditions remain one of the major reasons forcing children out of school. Through targeted support, Rainbow SENSE will directly benefit 500 students enrolled in community schools across Nepal, helping them continue their education and build a more secure future.

No Hunger aims to address the issue of hunger among children living in slum communities by providing them with nutritious meals on a daily basis. By ensuring that these children have access to regular meals, the project seeks to prevent them from resorting to begging on the streets in order to satisfy their hunger.

The Rainbow Community Society for young college students provide the following opportunities: 01. If you are interested in public welfare, hope to make the current rural education better, and are willing to work in the actual social service to change the lives of people, we will for you and your idea to provide a practical opportunity. 02. If you are a social worker, psychologist or normal students, then we provide an opportunity to enhance professional skills. 03. If not, you can get the skills and trainings, and can still help others. It is a cause that we all can participate in. People and things around you, and We may become better together. We encourage university students to participate in public welfare activities and improve their overall abilities in the process of participation.
