हामी गहिरो दुःखका साथ जानकारी गराउन चाहन्छौं कि रोटर्याक्ट क्लब अफ भक्तपुरका सदस्यहरू क्लबको वार्षिक परियोजना “Annual Trekking” अन्तर्गत २०२५ अक्टोबर ४ (2082 असोज १८ गते) लाङटाङ क्षेत्रमा भ्रमणमा रहेका बेला एक दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण दुर्घटनामा परेका छन्।

साँझ करिब ५:१५ बजे पेरिङ खोल्सामा आएको आकस्मिक बाढीले समूह ‘बी’ का सदस्यहरू रोटर्याक्टर सकृति श्रेष्ठ, सनिता श्रेष्ठ, किशन श्रेष्ठ र रवी श्रेष्ठलाई बगाएको पुष्टि भएको छ। अन्य सबै सदस्यहरू सुरक्षित छन् र अहिले घोडाटबेलास्थित Tinetian Hotel तथा चुनास्थित Hotel Woodland मा रहेका छन्।

हाल हामी स्थानीय प्रशासन, रोटरी जिल्ला ३२९२, र सम्बन्धित सरकारी निकायहरूसँग निरन्तर सम्पर्कमा रही उद्धार तथा राहत कार्यमा समन्वय गरिरहेका छौं।

यस कठिन परिस्थितिमा, यदि कुनै क्लबका सदस्यहरू वा उनीहरूको परिवारका सदस्यहरू सरकारी निकाय, सुरक्षाकर्मी, व्यवसायिक क्षेत्र वा स्थानीय समुदायसँग संलग्न हुनुहुन्छ भने, कृपया खोजी तथा उद्धार कार्यमा सहयोग पुर्‍याउन हार्दिक अनुरोध गर्दछौं।

त्यसैगरी, जो कोही लाङटाङ क्षेत्रमा पुग्न सक्ने, प्रत्यक्ष वा अप्रत्यक्ष रूपमा सहयोग गर्न सक्ने हुनुहुन्छ भने, तुरुन्त सम्पर्क गर्नुहुन अनुरोध गर्दछौं।

हाम्रो स–साना प्रयासहरूले ठूलो परिवर्तन ल्याउन सक्छ।
सबै रोटर्याक्टर, रोटेरियन तथा शुभेच्छुक महानुभावहरूलाई एकताबद्ध भई भक्तपुरका साथीहरू र तिनका परिवारलाई साथ र सहयोग गर्न हार्दिक आह्वान गर्दछौं।
