Today, on IDAHOBIT, the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia, we celebrate the importance of inclusion, empathy and the right for everyone to exist freely and safely. 🌈

For this content, youths from different platforms: Girls Out Loud, the Youth Advisory Council (YAC) and participants from RDN, came together to raise their voices in support of equality, acceptance and solidarity with LGBTQIA+ communities.

Starting from silence and gradually building into confidence and expression, this reflects how powerful it can be when young people choose understanding over judgment and support over silence.

Because creating safer, kinder and more inclusive spaces is everyone’s responsibility.
Happy IDAHOBIT.

🌸 Empowering the next generation of changemakers!
We recently wrapped up a 3-day Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) Peer Educator Training for adolescent girls from our Safe Spaces and Rupantaran Sessions — and the energy was incredible.
Participants gained vital knowledge on Sexual & Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Gender-Based Violence (GBV), and sexuality education. But more than that, they're now trained peer educators, ready to bring these conversations to their schools and communities.
Because change starts when young people are informed, confident, and supported. 💪

On 25th Baisakh 2083, under the Girls Standing Strong (GSS) Project, Plan International Nepal and RKJS — in coordination with Rajapur Municipality — distributed Reading Corner materials to 33 sponsored children at Nepal Rashtriya Aadharbhut Bidhyalaya, Rajapur. This aims to create a more child-friendly and motivating school environment by nurturing reading habits, creativity, and a love for learning among vulnerable children and girls. The Reading Corner materials are designed to encourage active participation in learning, strengthen language and comprehension skills, and support students in developing self-learning practices. Beyond academics, the program seeks to build children's confidence, deepen their interest in education, and ensure that girls and vulnerable children have equal access to quality learning opportunities. This is just the beginning as similar Reading Corner materials will reach a total of 850 sponsored and vulnerable children across Rajapur Municipality and the wider district, continuing the project's commitment to children's education, protection, empowerment, and inclusion.
