आज राष्ट्रिय बाल दिवसको अवसरमा, यस वर्षको नारा — "बालापनको रक्षा : भविष्यको सुरक्षा" — ले हामीलाई एउटा महत्त्वपूर्ण सत्य सम्झाउँछ: आजको बालापन सुरक्षित भएमा मात्र भोलिको भविष्य उज्ज्वल हुन्छ।

बालश्रम, हिंसा र शोषणबाट मुक्त वातावरणमा हरेक बालबालिकाले हुर्कने अधिकार राख्छन्। यो अधिकार सुनिश्चित गर्न सरकार, समुदाय, अभिभावक र नागरिक समाज सबैको साझा भूमिका छ।

🎥 "Children Can't Speak About What Happened"

In a recent interview, our President Mr. Thapa Kiran shares candid findings from his visit to flood-affected areas of Rasuwa and Nuwakot — where children continue to bear the heaviest, often invisible, burden of disaster.

Many children in these communities are still struggling to process and articulate what they've been through. The interview sheds light on the immediate and ongoing risks they face in the aftermath, and lays out clear calls to action — for government bodies, NGOs, civil society, and humanitarian actors — to protect children from every dimension of harm in disaster response and recovery.
