Advances in Epidemiological Research Methods: Understanding Theory in a Practical Setting

Nepal Public Health Research and Training Centre (NPHRTC), a sister institution of Nepal Public Health Foundation (NPHF), has successfully completed the second cohort of its three-day compact course:The course equipped participants with practical skills in scientific writing, proposal development, thesis supervision, epidemiological and statistical methods, qualitative research, research ethics, and STATA-based data analysis.

Through a blend of theory and hands-on learning, participants strengthened their ability to design, conduct, analyse, and communicate high-quality health research.

Following the successful completion of our first two cohorts, we are excited to announce the 3rd Cohort of our three-day compact course!

Join the Nepal Public Health Research and Training Center (NPHRTC), a sister institution of the Nepal Public Health Foundation (NPHF), in collaboration with the Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC), for an intensive and practical learning experience designed to strengthen your research capacity.

📅 25–27 October 2026

The course will focus on strengthening practical skills in scientific writing and publication, research proposal development, thesis supervision, epidemiological and statistical methods, and hands-on data analysis using STATA.

Learn from experienced national and international faculty from the University of Oxford, Imperial College London, and the University of Buenos Aires, gaining practical insights and skills that you can apply directly to your clinical and public health research.

On 1st September 2026, students from the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) once again visited the Nepal Public Health Foundation (NPHF) as part of their annual Global Health programme.

The visit provided an opportunity for SDU students from medicine and allied health sciences to engage with the NPHF team and learn about Nepal’s public health landscape.

We were pleased to welcome the students and look forward to continuing this valuable academic exchange and collaboration in the years ahead.
